This is the home page for the Coalition for Rocklin Youth, aka The Coalition for Placer Youth, aka CPY – We are a Drug Free Communities Coalition of Placer County. Since 2008, the Coalition for Placer Youth has been dedicated to reducing youth substance use in Placer County through prevention strategies that build and sustain community health and wellness. Until October of 2019, we provided direct drug and alcohol education and access to credible resources to empower teens, parents and other community partners.
The coalition identified gaps in community resources through ongoing community assessment and provided advocacy to improve environmental policies and youth capacity. Strategies were focused in Rocklin along with data collection in Rocklin. Currently the coalition is not operating but has provided a Prevention Toolkit that we welcome any and all to utilize. It is filled with local resources, including contact information and a road map for success in reducing youth substance use: Prevention Toolkit.
